Wild America (1997) - Movie Synopsis & Plot

In the summer of 1967, three boys set out to film wilderness before it goes extinct. Intent on becoming filmmakers, they go after the most dangerous animals, wolves, alligators, and grizzly bears. Their journey proves harder than they first thought as they come close to death every time. After surviving an alligator attack, a fighter jet test sight, and so on, they arrive at their final destination, the Cave of a 100 bears. Entering, they find a number of bears inside, only to be trapped by the vicious beasts.

After returning home, however, they show the town "Wild America," their short movie. Based on the true story of the Stouffer brothers.
