Scary Movie 3 (2003), by AnthonyBy , April 9, 2004Not as good as the first, but definitely better than the second, Scary Movie 3 completely "disses" films like: -The Matrix Reloaded -Signs -The Ring -8 Mile and Bruce Almighty. OK: this movie might sound really stupid because it also spoofs dramas and other comedies, but trust me when I say that it *is* stupid. That's the whole purpose of the film. It's not vulgar/gross-out humor, but worth the 6 dollars. I saw it 4 times and will buy the DVD. The chemistry, the cameos and the Zucker make this film what it is: (for lack of a better word,) awesome. It was completely saved by Regina Hall and George Carlin, but I have to admit that the best parts were in the trailer. There were very few jokes I disliked (pedaphile priest, KKK hood and the beastiality joke). Though it's PG-13, it's very funny for a film that can't have more than 1 F-word. Somehow, it's **** 1/2 out of *****. Category: General | Reply pretty funny, by NickBy , January 31, 2004This movie was very funny. Me and all of my friends were laughing out loud. Sure, it may seem to go over the top a few times, but to me and a lot of other people i know loved it. if you want to wait until it comes out on dvd/vhs, it wont be until May 11, 2004. . Anna Faris gives her best comedic performance. The cameos are awesome and extremely funny .My favorite segment was the rip-off of Signs. Though the 8-Mile scene was so-so (Simon is a real shock), I definitely recommend "Scary Movie 3" to teens and adults. My friends are going to love this! A low "A." Category: General | Reply I cant speak for myself, by some oneBy , November 9, 2003I have not yet seen this movie, however I should warn you, that every one I know that has seen this movie, has regreted it. Littleraly 30 people i knew saw it and were mad they wasted their money. I speak on behalf of them when i say wait until video, or see it at a cheap theater Category: General | Reply BLEH, by FrancesBy , October 25, 2003I enjoyed the first two "Scary Movies," they were crude and jumbled, but very entertaining. I just saw this movie about 20 minutes ago, and it was fairly awful. It just wasn't as funny. It had very few truly funny jokes, and was filled with slapstick. It was dull, stupid, and just not funny. Category: General | Reply |
