This was the dumbest and worst movie I have ever seen! The plot was terrble, the acting was worse, and the action was like something from a saturday morning cartoon! The makers gave bullet time a bad name because of how badly it was used here! The last time I saw this movie was over a year ago and all I can remember was one bad scene after another. I felt like I was watching a PAX tv original movie!

As i read all those reviews about HOD i thougt that this must be a really stupid movie. Fortunatelly, I watched it and did not give a thing about that reviews! HOD is so cool! Of course its a lowbudget movie (dont forget that).
But its such a funny movie. Its not a really scareing horror movie but so funny...damn..the
gunscenes are fantastic. clint howard so crazy funny... The visual effects are cool. The music is grooving great. Its entertaining damn good. I watched this movie 4-5 times! If you are a serious person dont watch this movie! My recommendation to all cool guys out there...
There is no better Actionmovie out on the market with that Productioncosts...

If you've played House of the Dead 2, then you would know that the zombies swim. If you don't play the game don't see the movie. I'm gonna see the second one becasue it's going to be about Rogan and G.

We picked this movie up by accident because it was behind the case for Rob Zombie's movie, "House of 1000 Corpses". Since we rented it, we decided we would watch it anyway. Shoot me now. I can appreciate movies that try to be stupid or cheesy in honor of the stupid and cheesy games they are made about, but this one doesn't even do stupid entertainingly. If there are positive reviews here, it's probably because the director logged on under a fake name. Shame on him for making this picture. Shame on us for not paying closer attention when we pick up a movie. Shame, shame, shame on us for trying to watch it. If you want to see boobs (the highlight of the film), draw a picture of them and shake the piece of paper up and down. If you are so very desperate to see breasts, that's a better option than sitting through this movie.

In a way, I liked this movie. I think the plot was good, as well as the weapons. But, there are a couple of problems: the blonde chick that turns into a zombie is a bad actress and they don't show the zombies ripping apart their victims. I mean, they show the zombies getting mutilated, so why not the victims. I definately loved the whole battle sequence when they are trying to get in the house (the music went great with it). I don't like the fact that they killed the Asian girl; she is so freakin' hot!! The swordfight scene kinda screwed up the movie too, and so did the slow motion sequence. Other than all of that, I really liked this movie! I hope they come out with a sequel (and I hope it will be better than the first).

I thought the movie was real good, even though most zombies don't move like that, they usally walk they don't swim or fight like that. Trust me I know! Other than that the movie was AWESOME!!! I loved it I can't wait until House of the Dead 2 comes out. I'm going to buy that too. I can't believe all those people who don't like it. That movie was good I watched it about 10 times already day after day. I'm going to watch it even more that's how much I liked it. And then I'm probably going to write a good message like this one for House of the Dead 2!(hopefuly they make it) G2G,Later!

This is a "so bad it's good" movie. I think it's not too bad to teens over 14. However, it is pretty actionpacked and gory at times. but the violense is no worse than Jeepers Creepers 2 or Texas Chainsaw Massacre. on the nudity side, not a whole lot, but there is a lot of chicks running around with boobs bouncing everywere. on the entertain side, i thought it was entertaining. nothing special, but worth a look. recommended on dvd. i watched it specialy 20 minutes ago, and i liked it more a 2 time.

well if your not a true horror movie fan, you wont like this, i think this si one of my favorite horor movie from 1990-2003. this movie has it all. the 5 teens, the rave, the boobies, the weapans, the running scenes, the zombies, the great fighting scenes, see this movie! and not that poser film, (the texas chiansaw massacre) im the biggets tcm fan, but the fact that they remade a classic and tried to be scary!

Ummmm, people, if anyone in here is even remotely familiar with the source material, you would understand that this movie is one big inside joke. Remember how laughable the in-game dialog was? The game was nothing scary...it reveled in it's B-movie campiness. This movie was badly written on purpose, just like the game was! And yes, not only did the game have swimming zombies, it had zombie monkeys, zombie assassins, zombie lumberjacks, fried zombie, baked zombie, zombie a'la mode....alas I regress. Anyhoo, in conclusion, to appreciate the movie, you have to appreciate the game, and the game was hardly serious....and DEFINITELY not scary. The whole purpose of seeing this movie is to get a good laugh and a little bit of action. That's it.
