Batman Begins, by Evelyn

Best Batman movie I ever seen, Christian Bale totally gets the part right. The story was steady and interesting. I was gripped with every scene.

the intimidating game..., by Rough

That was the working title of Batman Begins. I've seen the movie and I like it. It wasn't so deep and detailed as Nolan suggested, though. All in all, it's worth watching and probably one of the best after the times of Schumacher and his neo-metrosexual batmans.
the acing is great with Bale as the unquestionable master of darkness,;o). I just wish the ending wasn's so action-packed blockbuster like. However, I can only thank for bringing back one of the best series into dark life again...

Best ever, by Sparky

This is something I thought would never happen: a Batman movie that is not only extremely good, but also is true to the original comic book character. Much of what happens here was lifted right out of Batman's first appearances in Detective Comics (there was no Robin then, either)and it has been adapted with great care, respect, and skill. Finally, a reason for Bob Kane to stop rolling over in his grave. I'm sorry, but Joel Schumacher's AND Tim Burton's takes on Batman were awful, although for different reasons; that first Burton movie is a narrative train wreck, nowhere near good enough - nor professional enough - to be called a "sequel" to Batman Begins. Our best hope is that this cast and crew can be re-assembled for a 2nd movie.

i too think it was an awesome movie...they actually already had a Batman "sequel" with the Joker many years ago...the "first" batman movie in 1989 with Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson...

Batman Begins?????
What Kind of a title is that? Is that the best they could come up with? Man, I'm moving to Hollywoodland 'cause there is diffinately a need for some originality out there!
I've been a fan of Batman since the late 60's....but the movies don't even come close. They've all been horrible! They might as well do a "camp" movie that would include some of Hollywoodlands most famous actors portraying the villians...just like the TV show from the 60's. They could even have Adam West and Burt Ward do cameos. :-)

Everyone, get a grip..., by Magnum Opus

As far as direction is concerned, even Tim Burton had room for improvement. While I think that the original Batman was decent, the character was still portrayed in the wrong way... Bruce Wayne was psychotic, but he wasn't actually a PSYCHO, like Burton portrayed him to be. I think the several Batman cartoons depicted him the best... it fact, quite perfectly. Christopher Nolan is just as dark as Burton was, but he's arguably a better director and reportedly has a better understanding of the Batman character. And Christian Bale is perhaps the perfect Bruce Wayne for the setting this film is taking place. The only gripe I have about this movie is it's name... Batman Begins...? Damn, just call it "Batman".
