Just... awesome, by None of your business

King Kong was one of the most thrilling movies ive ever seen! The special effects were awesome, and although it was a bit slow, the gruesome fat sausage monsters kept me awake!
CAUTION: THIS FILM WILL MAKE YOU CRY AT THE END

Although it was a log movie, i didnt get bored once. the actionas and the pop ups were terific. i do have to agree with stephanie down there at the end he was slidding ont eh ice, hello it would have cracked. and she would have been cooled but other then that it was soo good. i cryed though half of it. im not sure if that makes me pathetic or what ever but it shows thta i actually care. Jack black played a horrible part but his acting wasnt his best. I think it was movie to buy when it comes out so if you havent sen it and heard it was a waste of time its not at all so see it in theaters before its out because then you miss the eximent on the big screen!! BIG thumbs up!! WOOT Woot!

Great special effects and a good story. A little on the long side but once the actions starts it is non-stop and "edge of your seat" suspense. The only thing that really bugged me was at the end when Ann (Naomi Watts) was with King Kong and ran around New York in the snow in a light weight thin strapped dress on and never seem to get cold! Unrealistic! LOL!

King Kong, by Peter Jackson

Way to go!!! Way to go!!! I really enjoyed this outrageously long movie. It had some of the best acting in our time. Jack Black was horrible but everyone else was amazing! Go see it people you are not wasting 3 hours, you are actually entertained the whole time. Well besides the beginning because it starts off kind of slow but it speeds up.

Impressive King Kong, by David-New Zealand

As a remake of an earlier film I wasn't expecting a lot, but after seeing King KOng my opinions have changed and I left the theatre feeling very satisfied. When I first heard Jack Black played a main role I was a bit dubious about whether he could pull it off. being the comedian that he is I wasn't too sure whether he could portray a convincing movie producer role. He acted remarkably and at times really held the tension together. King Kong had stunning visual effects and some of the best landscapes I have seen in a while. It rivals movies such as Jurassic Park-I say this because Jurassic Park has vegetation and scenary similar to that of King Kong. Both sunsets shown were done with a good wide angle shot which really enhanced how picturesque that atmosphere was. Being a guy, I especially loved the conflict between Kong and some other inhabitants of Skull Island. They (inhabitants) had been pursuing the beautiful Naomi Watts (Ann) and she barely escaped thanks to Kong's protectiveness. This movie has been one of the best I have seen in a while but what can I say? It was directed by Peter Jackson

a remake?, by blademan

So... is it a remake of the original then? Or a remake of the remake?

And if this one's successful, will there be a sequel to the remake possibly? And then maybe a remake of that to look forward to in another ten years or so?

Don't know what sorta delusions are the product of what it is they're snortin' these days in Hollywood. But whatever it is, it certainly must have a profound effect as an imagination suppressant.

King Kong may have been an innovative idea in 1931. But hey, it ceased to be so before the end of prohibition. And it's just an old'n cheesy, primitive and none to clever horror flick now, whose time has passed as irrevokably as bustles, stereo-opticons, and spats.

So... 'how bout a movie about spats, then?
Or am I maybe givin somethin' away?
