Casino Royale (2006) - Movie Synopsis & Plot
Daniel Craig stars as "007" James Bond, the smoothest, sexiest, most lethal agent on Her Majesty's Secret Service in "Casino Royale." Based on the first Bond book written by Ian Fleming, the story, which has never been told on film until now, recounts the making of the world's greatest secret agent.
James Bond's first "007" mission leads him to Le Chiffre (Mads Mikkelsen), banker to the world's terrorists. In order to stop him, and bring down the terrorist network, Bond must beat Le Chiffre in a high-stakes poker game at Casino Royale. Bond is initially annoyed when a beautiful British Treasury official, Vesper Lynd (Eva Green), is assigned to deliver his stake for the game and watch over the government's money. But, as Bond and Vesper survive a series of lethal attacks by Le Chiffre and his henchmen, a mutual attraction develops leading them both into further danger and events that will shape Bond's life forever.

December 31, 2005The combination of Daniel Craig and Martin Cambell could make this a really good film.
Goldeneye was a good Bond film, better than the ones they have made since, and if Cambell can bring back some of that, it could be good. And after seeing Craig in Layer Cake, I have no doubt he can play the role well.
I can't wait to see it :)

June 27, 200521. I say again. 21 films have been made based on james bond. is mgm desperate? Are they going broke? Because i swear to god james bond is getting old. Don't get me wrong, james bond is a great action bringer and i am fans of almost all their movies but when you have 21 films about the same guy doing the same things in every movie tends to get a little boring. I'm not mad im just a little worried. With the last movie which was filled with cheesy lines and bad dialogue, i would be sad to see it go even more downhill from there. MGM, the series of james bond must come to an end before you completly destroy the fantastic films or destroy yourselves.

July 3, 2004No matter who might play Bond, and no matter what may happen in the next Bond movie, it'll be difficult live up to Die Another Day.
With 20 James Bond films out there (21 if you count the remake of Thunderball - Never Say Never Again), I'd hate to see the franchise keep repeating various plots from the other movies.
