The greatest adventure of all time begins with "Star Trek," the incredible story of a young crew's maiden voyage onboard the most advanced starship ever created: the U.S.S. Enterprise. On a journey filled with action, comedy and cosmic peril, the new recruits must find a way to stop an evil being whose mission of vengeance threatens all of mankind.
The fate of the galaxy rests in the hands of bitter rivals. One, James T. Kirk (Chris Pine), is a delinquent, thrill-seeking Iowa farm boy. The other, Spock (Zachary Quinto), was raised in a logic-based society that rejects all emotion. As fiery instinct clashes with calm reason, their unlikely but powerful partnership is the only thing capable of leading their crew through unimaginable danger, boldly going where no one has gone before!

July 19, 2004Star Trek films have always been the continuation of characters we love and their adventures. To suddenly decide on tossing out beloved characters and go for a prequel is a big sign of trouble. It says the producers are more about bringing in new blood and more cash than satisfying the fans. If they can't think of a decent script to progress the current characters and story, they shouldn't make another film at all.

July 6, 2004I hope to god the next movie is not a prequel. I'm a trekkie, I'm a big trek fan, but even I acknowledge that Star Trek Enterprise leaves something to be desired in terms of the Star Trek Franchise. I think the one idea I heard would be nice. A new generations-type movie, a crossover between the Next Generationa and maybe a new crew, or even Riker's new crew. But for pete's sake, avoid at all cost the prequel idea. I'm not even gonna get into how Episodes I and II ruined star wars and what might happen if the next movie bases on that.

July 3, 2004When Rick Berman said that Star Trek XI will be a prequel; was he refering to an Enterprise movie? Or was he refering to a prequel based on one of the other 4 Star Trek television series.
I'd love to see a prequel based on the original series. Also a movie about Captain Christopher Pike and crew would be awesome!
