I found this movie leaving me rolling it over and over in my mind for days. Basically, it left me stunned. It is very factual, and although sometimes slow, fits in with the time period and life in Missouri during the post civil war era. Best movie I have seen all year...

My friend saw it (for free, even), and said it was so bad even Pitt's prettiness couldn't save it. Among it's faults was a tedious pacing, 'art school' editing, and a screenplay that read as it was written as it was filmed.
