In one stroke, the studio has reconciled plotlines from Smallville, the preceeding Chris Reeve legacy, and trumped every Superhero movie that has ever come before it. The new Captain America franchise has a lot of catching up to do, and doesn't Spiderman/X-men just seem a little pale? We can't wait for the team-up with the Christian Bale folks, but in the meantime, hello Oscars!
