Copycat (1995) - Synopsis

Criminal psychologist Helen Hudson is an expert on serial killers but after a near death experience with a psychotic she lives a life of fear in her apartment, never leaving. Her only link is a friend and assistant, Andy.

Then a new serial killer comes to town. M.J. Monahan, a police detective, along with her young partner, set out to track down the killer. They enlist Hudson to help them but she refuses; they keep on persisting. As Hudson starts to give in, she realizes that the killer is a copycat of the greatest serial killers. As they get closer and closer to the stalker, Hudson realizes the terrifying truth. He knows where she lives.
