August 16, 2009Yes, I agree that there was not much of a plot and maybe too many robots to figure out which ones were doing what but I loved all of the action it gave us and come on, if you are male and are not dead or gay who did not enjoy the slow motion scenes of Fox running with her breasts bouncing repeatedly. Yes, she is there for eye candy and it works. Name an action movie made in the last 20 years that doesn’t have eye candy in it. I find myself saying here we go again with the out of place chick always screwing things up for the hero or making problems for the hero. Look at the Bond girls, they are all super models, and they are in the movies to be eye candy and nothing else. So could LaBeouf have run faster without him holding her hand? We all know he could, I even wanted to yell out “let go of her and run you stupid wanker,” but then we would not have gotten to see some of the most memorable moments of the movie, Fox’s slow motion run! Did she have enough lines no, but like you said the movie was already two and a half hours long.
As far as LaBeouf getting the code in his head, I think one of the best scenes in the movie is when he jumped up on the professor’s platform and told the professor that Einstein was wrong and then proceeded to show him why on the chalkboard. Any one who has ever attended college has had at least one professor they would have loved the chance to be able to do that to. Just one gotcha, I’m right your wrong now take that.
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was never meant to be an intellectual movie, it was meant to be an action, sci-fi and that is just what it is. There is plenty of action, comedy, adventure and yes eye candy. The perfect movie for testosterone prone males that need their bomb blasting, bullet whizzing, and fire exploding, action fix. If you want to see an intellectual movie with no eye candy go rent The Good Shepard, but if you want non stop action go see Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

June 25, 2009the film is actually a really good film , good plot from the start that becomes more aparant the further u go threw the film. Also a really good twist at the end which shows a possible for another future film which is a really good thing. There is no racial sterotypes in no way did it say they were " black " they could have been any orrentation or race. The film would be suitable for all ages even late teens who aparantly would find it childish but it doesnt it has alot of action , smart plots and twists to keep you interested in not just the fighting ( which is probably the best animation this year) . So dont belive the crap review this movie has got because it is a great movie and well worth viewing.
