Poppy is quite a fascinating character study. If you want a lot of action, sex and adventure this isnt your movie. But if you want to really get to know a thirty year old British primary school teacher with a very "happy go lucky" approach to all she encounters, you will really enjoy this movie.

Our leading lady here is consistently seeming easygoing, carefree and perhaps rather shallow. But is she all she would appear to be. There are some surprises in the end that cause the parts here to really add up tot he sum. You wont easily forget Poppy.
