Columbia Pictures' and Sony Pictures Animation's "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" will be the most delicious event since macaroni met cheese. Inspired by the beloved children's book, the film focuses on a town where food falls from the sky like rain.

October 4, 2009Cloudy with a chance of meatballs comes from sony animation, a rather hit or miss production company, but sweet spaghetti did they hit with this one. A young scientist spends his life attempting to create helpful inventions on a small island known for sardines. He hopes to have hit the big time with his food weather converter majigger, but when it becomes sentient and starts sending out enough food to crush the small town, he must enlist the help of some new and old friends in order to save the town. The characters are lovable and fun and the plot is great (and for those wondering, so is the animation and the 3d.) A lovely adaption of a children's book I have never read.
