Niceodemus, by Rakin Ahsan HallBy , January 15, 2004I agree with many of the Ghost Dog Reviews. In my opinion the movie was a halfstep short of flawless. Forest Whitiker played a role usually reserved for a Wesley Snipes or Morris Chesnut. He truly made the character his own and added a certain depth to the assasain. Whittiker made you empathize and cheer on Ghost Dog. I own the DVD, and I regret that I never saw this gem on the big screen. The cinematography, casting, and story line painted a realistic view of the urban topography in America. Another bonus was the soundtrack by RZA. Any true Wu fan like me also appreciated the cameo by the Abbot. For those who haven't seen Ghost Dog, do so. You won't regret an afternoon watching this movie. xxx Category: General | Reply |
