John Carpenter's Ghosts of Mars (2001) - Synopsis

175 years in the future, a small police squad will attempt to transfer a notorious criminal to the main city on Mars. What they don't know is that the mining colonies have unleashed a spiritual doomsday device that is programmed to kill any foreign species, such as humans.
