Set three years after General Douglas MacArthur was forced to retreat from the Philippines, this is the true story of Army Ranger Lt. Colonel Henry Mucci, who was selected to attempt to liberate hundreds of American prisoners from the Japanese war camp Cabanatuan. Before partaking in the battle, however, he had to undergo extensive and exhaustive training exercises for a mission that he and his men were not necessarily guaranteed to return from.
