Against the Ropes (2004) - Synopsis

Based on the true character of boxing manager Jackie Kallan, this is a fictionalized account of the rise of both her career and that one of her boxers, who she discovers and leads to the middleweight championship. Along the way, they struggle to cooperate as fame gets the better of both of them.
