Holes (2003) - Synopsis

Teenager Stanley Yelnats (try spelling that backwards) is sent to a detention camp for a crime he didn't commit - stealing a pair of shoes - and is forced by the ferocious warden to dig five-foot deep holes every day as a character building exercise. But is there more to the holes than meets the eye?
