By far one of the worst movies i have seen in a log time. Don't waste you money.

Just saw advanced screening of the movie "House of Sand and Fog". To be released 12/26/03. Very powerful. It is a Greek Tragedy set in modern America, but will have appeal outside the US. Not for the young or very sensative. Leaves me with feelings similar to having seen "Sophie's Choice", "Platoon" or "Monster's Ball", but more so. Sex and physical violence low, but emotionally very violent. People looking for a happy holiday film should skip it. The movie should not be seen alone and should be followed with dinner and a drink (several drinks). People will not want to see it twice and wish they could forget it, but what a movie. Critics will love it; many people will hate it and if it does not get some academey awards, I am anxious to see what will.
