Masterminds (1997) - Synopsis

16 year old Ozzie Paxton is a genius, but an underachiever. He's thought to be a failure, an outcast, a punk, but a genius nonetheless.

Then his skills are put to work in real life. Shady Glen School is a private school, in which he is exiled; the principal hates his guts. However, when the security officer Ralph Bentley takes the school hostage with armed guards, Ozzie finds himself the only one who can save the richest students in America. Immediately, Bentley finds that his plan starts to fall apart as the 16 year old begins to hack into the school. Suddenly, he realizes that Ozzie is the only one that can stop him, but, however, he will do anything to receive his 650 million dollars. And if that means the death of Ozzie, so be it…
