Whoever wrote this review has absolutely no idea what he/she was talking about. I guess you expected gallons of blood being spilled and 4 headed monsters running around. The movie was excellent. It has a nice dark atmosphere and a SUPERNATURAL undertone that culminates at the end. Only very stupid person would not see it. Please do not wrote any more reviews. Please. Or just stick to "chainsaw massacre - movies". To everyone else: Read the book, and/or see the movie! BOTH ARE GREAT.

to the one that wrote the review: start fishing or hunting but please do not ever write a review at least for the specific film an excellent jhonny depp,a very good scenario without "hocus-pocus" staff and something else: success cannot always be repeated and i m talking about the "sleepy hollow" that you mentioned some things can't be compared "9th Gate" was ANOTHER movie,with ANOTHER scenario to conclude: a must see
