Pay it Forward (2000) - Synopsis

A teacher (Kevin Spacey) challenges a boy (Haley Joel Osmet) to make the world a better place. The boy decides to "pay it forward" (instead of payback) with the basic concept that every time he helps someone, that someone will help three people, and those three people will each help three people, and so forth...

The boy also takes in a homeless man.
