Quills (2000) - Synopsis

When infamous author Marquis de Sade is put in an insane asylum by his wife, he is also put into a match of wills against the doctor trying to break him. Even under the care of a Catholic priest, he continues to write his literature - basically pornography - and smuggle them out of the hospital via a laundrywoman.
