I viewed a little of this movie in my EDUC 3200 class at UCA, and from the beginning it had me hooked. We could not see all of the movie due to our time factor, so my son bought it for me for my b-day. I had to see the rest of it.
What a great movie!! It shows us that we are all alike. All of us wants to be accepted and needed. I am so glad that society for the most part views people with disabilites as people first and not a disability.
This movie touched my heart like no other has in a long time. Maybe because I am going to teach special ed., but I doubt it. I think it has more to do with the hope for humanity, and knowing that we can touch others lives by merely caring and losing our prejudices just because others are "different."
My rating for this movie is an A+

I love this movie, because it shows you how specialily challenged people are treated in life. And it teaches you that everyone is beutiful inside and can be liked.

It is 10:29 pm est.,I just got home from viewing the movie RADIO. It was extremely touching, thoughtful, and deep to the point of which all people inside, wish they could feel as good and changed for the better as they felt walking out. This gentle man RADIO can teach us all a lesson on humility and true love. Awesome movie!!!!!!!

Best Movie in a long time, by Melanie

By , November 8, 2003

My 10 year old daughter and I went to see Radio today. It was by far one of the best movies ever made. The story is uplifting and shows the best part of humans. My daughter loved it. She is now wanting to go to Anderson to see the real Radio. What a beautiful heart Coach has. This is a testimony to the goodness in people. I would highly recommend this movie if you want entertainment, inspiration and to walk away with a great belief in humanity.

Fantastic movie, by Mickey Inman

My husband and I saw "Radio" last night- 11/4/03. It was wonderful. More schools and communities should do what Hanna High did! Cuba did a fantastic job portraying "Radio". He and Ed Harris were just great. I could see people in the audience wiping tears away. Thanks for a great movie.

Let me just say that Ed Harris and Cuba Gooding Jr. were great together. This is a great family movie. I actually could take my kids to see this one.

Radio the Person, by A TL Hanna Employee

I have not had the privilege of seeing the movie yet,but am looking forward to the premiere in a couple of weeks. I do, however, know the real Radio. He is a loving, humble individual, trusting as a child, and his whole life is centered around a High School, the students and people who work there. It takes so little to make him happy---he comes in every morning smiling and never fails to say "I feel good". He loves being helpful and is always willing to help. I don't think I have ever seen Radio in a bad mood, heard him complain, or without a smile on his face. Some people might look at Radio and pity him---I look at Radio and think how much better off we would be if we could smile at the world everyday the way he does. Radio has brightened many a day for me. I hope this movie will correctly portray Radio as the kind, trusting, loving individual that all of us at T. L. Hanna High School know and love.
