Romeo and Juliet (1996) - Movie Review |
||
|
Movie ReviewRomeo and Juliet is very compelling, a dark but original change from William Shakespeare's first playwright. DiCaprio and Daines are great in their roles; they are a match for one another. It was strange, more for the bad, hearing it in Elizabethan English while seeing cars drive by but I liked their introductory approach to the characters. While it is a pretty good movie, some people may not be too keen on the modernization. |
