Men beware! The frighteningly unique film festival favorite, Teeth, debuts on DVD May 6th, from Genius Products and The Weinstein Company.

Teeth is a fascinating black comedy/horror tale about an innocent teenager, Dawn, who discovers quite by accident that she developed choppers in the most unexpected place. A directorial debut from actor Mitchell Lichtenstein (The Wedding Banquet),Teeth is galvanized by the vagina dentata mythology and expresses a story that is deliciously enjoyable, yet symbolic, and will transform even the most resistant viewer into a rapt student of ancient taboos.

Teeth earned two Special Jury Prize Awards* from both the Sundance Film Festival and the Gérardmer Film Festival. It stars newcomer Jess Weixler (The Big Bad Swim) and John Hensley ("Nip/Tuck").
