Based on comic-book creator Enki Bilal's fantastic epic story, Immortal is a foray into the future, where humans, gods, mutants and aliens co-exist. When a mysterious Egyptian pyramid appears in the sky, chaos breaks out on the streets below. It is the year 2095 in New York City. Genetic mutation and corruption surround Jill, a beautiful young woman with blue hair, blue tears and a rare power to bear the children of gods. Unbeknownst to Jill, Nikopol (Thomas Kretschmann), a human man embodied by a falcon-headed god, pursues her for her ability to procreate with immortals. When Jill meets Nikopol, she experiences the feeling of love for the first time. As Nikopol is forced to put his feelings aside and act savagely on behalf of the god that empowers him, the two collide and Jill's world skids out of control.
