The Details

First Look Studio proudly announces the Blu-Ray release and Steelbook re-release of The Contract, available on December 2nd.  The film stars Academy Award® winner Morgan Freeman and Golden Globe® nominee John Cusack. The Contract is directed by Bruce Beresford and written by Stephen Katz and John Darrouzet.  While trying to reconnect with his son on a hiking trip, ex-police officer Ray Keene (John Cusack) stumbles upon world-class assassin, Frank Carden (Morgan Freeman), who is on a mission to complete a contract.  Attempting to capture Carden, Keene's world takes a turn when his son is kidnapped and a deadly game develops.

While on a hiking trip with his son, ex-lawman Ray Keene runs into escaped assassin Frank Carden.  Apprehending him, Keene and his son discover a scheme to eliminate a high profile businessman.  As they struggle to bring Carden back to civilization and bring him to justice, they are pursued by ex-military guns-for-hire, who are adamant about freeing their leader and fulfilling the contract.  Stakes increase as Carden's men kidnap Keene's son and an action-packed game of cat and mouse ensues.
