Movie Review
Grade: B-
A Simple Plan, starring Bill Paxton, Billy Bob Thorton (nominated for an Academy Award for this movie), Bridget Fonda, and Brent Brisco, is a thriller from director Sam Raimi. The movie's title describes the plot perfectly, but, of course, as in all these kinds of movies, things don't go as planned. What started out as a simple crime ends up as a web of deceit, murder, and paranoia, and A Simple Plan takes a slightly more unique approach. Read the full movie review
