Laurel Ayres is a skilled and intelligent financial analyst. Unfortunately, she's a woman. Whoopi Goldberg always has a lot of energy, but, unfortunately, The Associate does not. While Whoopi shines, the movie lags on. This concept has been done a hundred times before and it will be done a hundred times more; out of all those, at least some have to be better than this boring comedy. Full movie review »
