Movie Review
Star Trek: The Motion Picture is nothing more than a graphics spectacular but it does an excellent job as just that. It's graphics might not be quite up there with Star Wars, which beat this Star Trek in the Academy Awards department, but they come pretty close. Half of the movie, or more, has to be devoted to just showing off the graphics, which, unfortunately, left little time for plot. The ending was somewhat cheesy but this was the first Star Trek movie; it sprouted several sequels and television series. Full movie review »
