Movie Review

Grade: B Virtuosity is not the greatest movie around in terms of acting or dialogue but it is fun to watch. Whether there have been similar movies or not, Virtuosity is explosive when it comes to action and an awesome story. The plot itself wasn't sophisticated, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. There are a plethora of sudden turns in the story and, by the end, it will be hard to tell whether the movie is taking place in reality or virtual reality. Because of this, it makes the ending much more interesting. Read the full movie review

Virtuous Virtuosity, by Nate N. P.

December 5, 2003

It wasn't the best virtual reality movie I've seen, but it was one of the better ones. I liked the way Sid was created from the personalities of actual human beings. It uses an old movie rule in which the hero has had a female family member killed or wronged and avenges her. However, in this version, the one at fault is only one of the villains many personalities. It's like Tombstone meets Termiantor. Denzel Washington does a great job as a detective, no wonder he plays one so often.
