Movie Review
Grade: A-
Bad Boys is a fun movie. Will Smith (Fresh Prince of Bel-Air) and Martin Lawrence (Martin), two funny boys, and Téa Leoni (Deep Impact), beautiful and talented, make up a great combo (in fact, they are making a sequel). There's a lot of good jokes and a lot of good action, though not as much so as the Lethal Weapon movies. The reason I compare Bad Boys to Lethal Weapon is simple; it appears to be an attempted copy of it. Both have partners that complain to each other the whole way through and go against the rules, both have lots of jokes, and both have a lot of destruction. But, in all those cases, Lethal Weapon comes up on top. It's not that Bad Boys isn't good, it is, it's just that they tried to hard to play off another movie's success. Nevertheless, Bad Boys still delivers, and it delivers good. Read the full movie review
