Movie Review
It was inevitable that one day Garfield would make it to the big screen. After all, he's one of the most popular and well-known comic characters, despite the fact that the comic strip itself seems to be repeating itself more often than not nowadays. Nevertheless, Garfield: The Movie is here and I enjoyed it as much as my cat allergies. Full movie review »

June 12, 2004Hi,
I'm a very big fan of garfields. I've been reading the comics since tthe age of 7 years old.First off, i'd like to say that they did a really good job on garfield, but the other characters, i must say it was kinda poor (no offense).Nermal is supposed to be a cute little gray cat and not a siamise.Odie was not the dog i know in the comics. My attention to him was not great at all because next to garfield, you can really tell like alot that garfield is really fake when odie should of been made the same way that garfield was put to life in camera.Jon, in the comics, he has bad luck with any girl on the planet. The veternarien is not supposed to fall in love with him but date him and dump him which is pretty funny. Jon was supposed to be a clumsy man who had no style at all. In the movie he looks handsome and has a nice style. When garfield sings, in the comics, he sings so bad that other cats throw him tomatos and shoes. While i was watching that part i was really expecting to see that ...because i red it in all of the comics. My hopes went down when nothing happened.I wich they could just remake it in a way that it would look like a Dr. Seusse movie. But i guess it's too late to change now. I shall never look at the comics the same way ever again.
I am very disapointed.
Thank you for reading this and understanding if it's the case.I know i might sound mad, but please understand whats going on in the mind of the biggest fan of garfield.
thanck you for listening
