Movie Review
An all-star cast and the director of Amores perros are players in one of the better movies of 2003, 21 Grams. As good as it is depressing, 21 Grams is anything but light. Full movie review »

March 17, 2004this movie was way down to earth, i really enjoyed it (even though it made me incredibally sad) the only thing wrong is that you do not really know whats going on in the beginning unless youve heard about it, like i had read this review before i saw it and so i understood, but was still confused, i had to explain it to my friend every 5 minutes of what was going on, but if you get it youll like it.

December 15, 2003I completely disagree. This movie is excellently acted and the direction and editing is outstanding. The story is made interesting through the use of its out-of-sequence structure. Naomi Watts is remisnicent of her role in Mulholland Drive and does a great job. Sean Penn follows up a powerful performance in Mystic River with an even better one here. I definitely think that this is one of the five best five films I have seen this here, but I hope Lord of the Rings blows it out of the water.

December 11, 2003I saw one of his former movies , Amores Perros (forgive my bad spanish) and loved it. Unfortunately this movie just isn't any good. Very cool idea of a shattered storyline though. Someone in the future will make a great movie using this idea, but 21 grams falls flat. Sorry.
