A single mother goes to therapy after her 8-year old son disappears in a plane crash, only to be told something shocking: that her son and the last 8 years have been merely a figment of her imagination. Expectations can never run high when it comes to September films, a month where studios notoriously drop films that would never have succeeded in the summer.
