Movie Review
Grade: B-
Few Japanese films make it to the United States, but one that has - Ju-on: The Grudge - is guaranteed to scare your socks off. While it doesn't make as much sense as Ringu, Japan's most well-known import (and the film that was redone in Hollywood as The Ring), it is a whole heck of a lot scarier. Read the full movie review

First I was impressed by the sharpness of the production and direction. I didn't expect much from this until I read a Japanese review about J-Horror coming to America in NewType last year. The movie was sincere in scaring the nightlights out of you. If you have a tight knit relationship with everything Japanese culture, films, and anime, you will be impressed with the films story plot and flow. Outstanding. J-Horror is the craze right now. Off to play some Silent Hill games.
