I don't know what it is about sci-fi when Steven Spielberg and Tom Cruise get together, but it works. The two A-list players last teamed up for the critically successful "Minority Report" - which was not especially financially successful - and they're looking to set things right with "War of the Worlds," roughly based on the H.G. August 12, 2005war of the world is almost my favourite movie this summer cos i liked fantastic four and batman but when i heard thet this movie is for tom cruise i got excited cos he is my favourite actor in the whole world and steven spelberg is a great director the movie is fantastic and tom look great and hot in the movie so i tell people to go to war of the world

July 6, 2005This movie is the best movie i'v seen this whole summer. Batman was great but im gonna have to give it to war of the worlds. Sure it could have been better and the ending wasn't the best but it most definetily wasn't bad at all. This is a must see movie for everyone.

The ending wasn't the best, but the movie was sure damn good. the connection between fanning and cruise was amazing, slowly growing stronger through the movie. I only wish that maybe a human or someone could have fought hand to hand with an alien, I want to see the attributes of the extra terrestrials. Above all the movie is an A.
