Movie Review

Some people got on Kevin Smith's case for resorting back to the movies that made him famous with Clerks II, after his attempt at more serious drama (which really wasn't that serious anyway) - Jersey Girl - flopped, but I don't get it. Here's a man who can write witty dialogue and deliver edgy comedies that still have a moral to them - why shouldn't he just keep on doing what he's doing?

The A- movies review that is posted for this movie should not be trusted. I am a big fan of the Kevin Smith movies, but this movie was just not good. Kevin Smith movies are supposed to be clever. Though this movie had a few clever dialogues, majority of the movie was utterly crude. The movie goes up and down almost trying to decide if it wants to be a comedy, gross out flick, or a drama. I dont recommend even renting this movie. Maybe borrow it from a friend if you want to waste a tuesday night. (C-)
