Following the success of the "Rocky" movies, Sylvestor Stallone made his mark as an action star in "First Blood." Despite common misconceptions, this first "Rambo" movie does not consist of mindless carnage, but actually takes a critical look at how America treated its Vietnam vets - of course, it still works better as a n action movie.
