Movie Review
Grade: C+
Academy Award winners Tommy Lee Jones and Benicio Del Toro, along with Academy Award nominee Connie Nielsen, team up for the serious action flick The Hunted, directed by William Friedkin ( The Exorcist). The talent, along with the fact that Jones is back in a role that he does so well, suggests that The Hunted should be one of the coolest movies of the year; unfortunately, it does not live up to expectations. The Hunted, by Charlie
December 15, 2003
The only thing that saves this film from being rated with an 'F' and up to a 'D' is that I have never EVER laughed so hard watching a film. The scene where Hallam (Del Toro) re-visits an ex girlfriend / acquaintance (?), gets re-captured, then promptly escapes via a window and a sloping roof is the most stupid thing I have ever seen. Moronic dialogue, no plot exposition, unintentional side-splittingly funny scenes, and laughable 'special' effects. If you enjoy laughing at bad films this ones for you!
