I rented this movie on the off chance that it might be good. Sadly the inevitable happened and it turned out much as id originally expected.. i.e. Rubbish, but hey that’s just my opinion. I think the casting was awful, apart from Kate Hudson she was not only good in her character but she happens to be bootylicious as well :) But her husband whoever he is, wasn’t right for the part at all, he seems more like a serious actor rather than a comedy actor. As for 'Dupree' its just silly to cast him as the main funny man of the movie because he is incapable of being the main comedian of any movie he’s ok as a sidekick comedian to a much better stand alone star, lets say someone like Eddie Murphy. There are a few funny parts in the movie but I wouldn’t recommend anyone go specifically and purchase it, perhaps if its playing on TV and you have nothing better to do with 2 hours of your life then its worth a try.
