Movie Review

Grade: B- Pride is a movie that never appealed to me when I saw the previews for its theatrical release. After all, it looked like yet another black man underdog sports movie where a bunch of ragtag kids are pulled together and taught the meaning of success under a passionate coach, face a bunch of racial conflicts along the way, and eventually come out victorious at the end. There have been plenty of movies like this in recent years and over the last several decades; Pride just replaces football or basketball with swimming.

Military Pay clerk, by Peggi M. Phillips

January 10, 2007

After looking at the trailer of this movie, sent to me from my brother, I can hardly wait for it to be released. I think Terrence Howard is an OUTSTANDING actor, and it looks as though he's done it again. I just don't think he gets the recognition he deserves. The sound track seems like it will be "awesome", and I can't wait to buy it...
