After his father's death, Kale (Shia LaBeouf) becomes sullen, withdrawn, and troubled - so much so that he finds himself under a court-ordered sentence of house arrest. His mother, Julie (Carrie-Anne Moss), works night and day to support herself and her son, only to be met with indifference and lethargy.
The walls of his house begin to close in on Kale. He becomes a voyeur as his interests turn outside the windows of his suburban home...

Disturbia stunned box office analysts over the weekend by taking in nearly double what most had predicted, a whopping $23 million on an otherwise quiet (yet crowded) weekend. A teen thriller that tries hard not to be a teen thriller, Disturbia offers Rear Window-style suspense, a scorching hot love interest and up-and-coming star Shia LaBeouf.

August 11, 2007Copy of "Rear Window" or not it's a great adaptation. If you like suspense with a bit of humor, it's a good one.
Lots of plot twists and turns to keep you entertained. Isn't that what movies are all about? Microwave some popcorn and hold on!

April 14, 2007In regards to "Sammy Sosa", are you talking about the movie rating or the MPAA rating? In regards to the MPAA rating, the movie was rated R and was changed to PG-13 on appeal. As for Titanic, don't know what you're talking about... the MPAA rating is correct. :o)

April 4, 2007The plot of "Disturbia," Comes from the movie "Rear Window." In "Rear Window," Jimmy Sewart cannot move due to a broken leg. He spys on his niegbors and suspects the man across the street, Raymond Burr, aka "Perry Mason," of murdering his wife. All disturbia is a a copy of "Rear Window," turned into a horror movie. I know some of you will take offense to this and call me names like usual, but go ahead, I could care less. It's still not an original idea.
