Movie Review
Bee Movie, now out on DVD, was nominated for Best Animated Picture at the Golden Globes but denied a similar nomination at the Academy Awards. The movie, starring Jerry Seinfeld, is an entertaining, well-animated comedy, but the Oscars got it right: there's nothing special to be seen here.

November 8, 2007I just saw "Bee Movie." It started off so so, with an interesting view of life from a bee's point of view. Then it went downhill, with no redeeming virtues. There were plenty of old cliches and stereotypes, and highly improbable events. After about 30 minutes the only suspense was not whether it was going downhill, but what was the downhill slope.
