Movie Review
Sharon Stone returns to mainstream theaters for the first time in four years and Dennis Quaid looks to continue his powerful career resurgence with Cold Creek Manor, a thriller where murder is bound to happen. Unfortunately, this so-called thriller isn't going to do much for either of their careers, as it is easily forgettable. Full movie review »

February 11, 2007Not a bad movie, Dorff is so sexy in a bad boy way. I love Dennis Quaid but they portray him as a wimp ass. Some compelling scenes and a genuine fear at times then it would get stupid again.

April 24, 2004Well, this movie was worth a click on the dish.I was disappointed a little. There was a nice Sharon Stone panty shot(not a bad can). The husband was the biggest puss on EARTH THOUGH!If any one repeatedly insults me in front of my family you can beat your A double crooked letter its gonna be ON.But the dumbest thing was the introduction to the bad guy.The guy just walks in to their house whether it WAS his at some time or not,are you kidding me? strike 1.Than he invites himself to dinner, and he sits there and lights up a freakin joint!OH it gets better the icing on the cake is he asks for a JOB!!He wouldve gotten a blunt object on the back of his head for walkin into my house. And the writers thought it was beliveable to turn quaids character into a spineless jellyfish.I thought it was about ghosts or atleast creepy.Bloodthirsty snakes?Spare me. With all that criticism its worth watching. Mywife and i revealed at quaids lack of testicles to throw that guy out of the house.

September 27, 2003I'd give it a C- if I could, but I'll settle for a C. I definately think this movie could've been better. I wasn't very much impressed. The story could have been better if it was worked on a bit longer, and the acting wasn't all that great.

September 22, 2003"Cold Creek Manor" has it's flaws, but it gave me the chills and it scared me more than once. The acting was decent. I was especially surprised by Stephen Dorff's performance. It's the best he has ever done. The look and the atmosphere of the film was stunning and creepy. The Devil's Throat theme was brilliant, and also creepy. And it is the most entertaining thrillers of the year. But a couple flaws were present of cource. One, it was extremely predictable (but not in a really bad way), and two, the army-like music used in scary scenes was very annoying and had nothing to do with the plot. Still, I recommend "Cold Creek Manor" if you don't expect a haunted house movie, OR it to completely shocking.

September 11, 2003THE ACTING WAS VERY POOR CONSIDERING THE BIG NAMES ON THE BILL. THE PLOT WAS PREDICTABLE WHEN THERE WAS A PLOT. IT SEEMS THE MAKERS OF THIS MOVIE WERE UNABLE TO DECIDE WHAT TYPE OF MOVIE THEY WANTED TO MAKE AND IT SHOWS. NO SUSPENSE. NO SURPRISES. NO PLOT. NO GOOD AT ALL. THE ONLY HIGH POINT IN THIS MOVIE IS THE END WHICH LETS YOU KNOW THE TIME YOU HAVE WASTED WATCHING IT IS OVER.THANK GOODNESS I GOT IN FOR FREE!
