Decorated Iraq war hero Sgt. Brandon King makes a celebrated return to his small Texas hometown following his tour of duty. In Stop-Loss, Ryan Phillippe stars as as a soldier who has returned from Iraq, only to find that the U.S. government has "broken his contract" and decided to send him back for yet another tour. Unwilling to return, he goes AWOL and sets off a series of events that put friends, family and himself in a precarious position.
