Euphrosyne says:
November 10, 2009WARNING:CONTAINS SPOILERS.
This movie was very well written. The humor combined with heart touching moments, and even some morals vs. human ignorance and "progress", make this movie excellent.
The parts where it is lacking? A little more elaboration may have been needed on how original Toby was different from the newly created Astro boy; as well as more time before Astro boy relized he was a robot, so as to allow him to develop more. Also, a bit more time devoted to the lesser characters, such as the RFA, would not have been amiss.
Overall though, Astro Boy is a wonderful movie, with pleanty of light-heartedness for kids, and moral battles abound for any storyline savvy movie goer.
