Following the success of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, the latest mystical Chinese import is Hero. Its path has been anything but straightforward. Nominated for Best Foreign Film in 2002's Academy Awards, the movie has yet to be released in the United States as of 2004 - and is expected to finally reach limited theaters in August. There's much to be excited about this movie. For fans of classic kung-fu, I think Hero will be a spectacle of great fight scenes and high-flying action. The movie has an awesome look to it, with a very intereting color scheme and visual effects that will be a treat to the eye. I can't wait to see it!
