Grade: D-
Idle Hands was supposed to be a horror movie spoof; instead, it turned out to be gross-out horror movie lacking any substance, including horror or comedy, with a hand-off approach to entertainment. Read the full movie review

It's what it is., by Shawn Johnson

Idle Hands was supposed to be moronic in many ways. His friends harboring him no ill will after they die fits their characters from when they were still alive. They just didn't care about anything, including themselves.
I agree it was just stupid on many levels. But it didn't try not to be. The movie was meant to be that way, and they succeeded. I didn't pop this in to see a powerfully character driven story, nor an expansive and memorable plot. This movie was just made for fun, and it was that. Fun.
